Course Description:

Low Light Scenarios is a one-day tactical refresher designed to validate and refine previously acquired low-light skills through scenario-based training. Building on the foundational Low Light course, this program focuses exclusively on practical application in reduced visibility environments using handheld or weapon-mounted illumination tools. The course emphasizes decision-making, light discipline, movement, and threat identification in darkness. Through structured and progressively complex force-on-force scenarios, participants test their ability to operate safely and effectively under low-light stress conditions.

Contents:

Refresher of essential low-light techniques including flashlight manipulation, light discipline, and movement principles, application of identification and decision-making procedures in reduced visibility, solo and small-team coordination in dark environments, repeated scenario-based training using FX Simunition firearms, structured debriefing and evaluation of tactical decision-making under low-light stress conditions.

Recommended equipment:

Tactical hand torche, comfortable civilian or tactical clothing and solid outdoor or sports shoes (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor/indoor temperatures), belt, high-quality and safe kydex or plastic hand gun holster placed on the strong hand side and covering the trigger guard, holster for the magazine, shooting goggles, knee pads.

Nylon or similar soft pistol holsters as well as underarm holsters are very dangerous for the training as well as for the user safety in real weapon carry. Please avoid wearing them for the course and even in real life. Appendix carry holsters are allowed but it must meet the definition of a high quality and safe kyded or plastic hand gun holster, preferably kydex holster placed on the strong hand side and covering the trigger guard.

Weapon:

There will be our training FX simunition wepons (Glock 17 GEN4/GEN5) with the holster available for all the participants for free of charge. FX ammunition included in the course fee.

Timing:

Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the car park of the training site / shooting range, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 18:00.

Accommodation and food:

Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant provides and pays for it himself. There will be a 30 min lunchtime meal time. We recommend you bring food ration for the outdoors and enough drink for the day.
