Self-defense scenarios

Course Description: Self-Defense Scenarios is a two-day course designed for licensed firearm holders who carry or intend to carry a concealed handgun for personal protection. While Czech legislation allows lawful concealed carry, practical preparation for real-life violent encounters is often not part of standard licensing training. The course focuses on threat recognition, conflict avoidance, stress-based decision-making, and legally proportionate use of force. Participants engage in realistic civilian scenarios and receive structured feedback regarding effectiveness, safety, and legal compliance. The objective is to help responsible armed citizens understand their capabilities, limitations, and legal responsibilities when facing situations that may threaten their life or the safety of their loved ones. Contents: Day 1. Threat identification and situational awareness, conflict prevention and de-escalation principles, communication during confrontation, concealed carry principles and safe draw techniques, graduated use of force (verbal commands, pepper spray, firearm), close-contact use of pepper spray and firearm, fundamentals of edged-weapon defense, legal framework of self-defense and necessity under Czech law, post-incident procedures and communication with law enforcement. Day 2. Scenario-based training in civilian environments, stress-based decision-making exercises, application of pepper spray and FX Simunition firearms, evaluation of use-of-force decisions, video-recorded scenarios with structured legal and tactical debriefing. Recommended equipment: Day 1. Gym shoes. According to the gym where the course will take place sometimes we practice on tatami. In that situation, you need to train barefoot. Clothing for both days we recommend the type in which you normally walk and allows concealed carry of gun. Gun  and holster for concealed carry (both can be borrowed by agreement). Mandatory PROTECTIVE GLASSES for both days. The first day after the course is possible to take a shower. Day 2. Outfits that allow concealed carry. Given the environment in which the course takes place, there is a high probability of soiling clothes. Adjust clothing to outdoor temperatures and weather. PROTECTIVE GLASSES mandatory.
