Course Description:

Tactical Driving Advanced is an advanced driving course focused on handling high-risk situations where conventional driving skills are no longer sufficient. Students will learn how to use a vehicle to overcome blockages, escape dangerous situations, and maintain mobility even when physical contact with another vehicle occurs. The training focuses on vehicle dynamics, timing, and understanding the limitations of both the vehicle and the driver. The course includes vehicle displacement techniques, blockade escape procedures, controlled contact manoeuvres, and other methods used when a vehicle must be employed to create a path to safety. Emphasis is placed on safety, vehicle control, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Contents:

Fundamentals of offensive and contact vehicle tactics, tactical use of vehicle mass and momentum, pushing disabled vehicles forward or backward out of danger zones, controlled vehicle-to-vehicle contact techniques, PIT maneuver execution and countermeasures, vehicle recovery from block situations, breaching light roadblocks with own vehicle, breaching obstacles using disabled vehicle in front, combined contact maneuver drills under stress conditions, scenario-based exercises focused on mobility preservation under threat.

Recommended equipment:

Civilian clothing and footwear (this equipment should be suited for any weather conditions – goratex in cause of rain etc).

You will be training with our training vehicles.

Timing:

Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the training area, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 16:00.
