Air Assault

Course Description: Air Assault course is designed to teach both teams and individual military and police operators the tactics and techniques needed for a helicopter insertion into a hostile and/or denied location by fast rope techniques with FRIES. All course will be done on helicopter Eurocopter EC135. Contents: DAY 1: basic theory of helicopter use in tactical and rescue operations, safety in and around helicopters, verbal and non-verbal signals for communication with the helicopter crew, helicopter landing guidance and preparation of landing zones, use of safety rappeling equipment, practice rappelling on the fast rope on the training climbing tower, training of boarding, organization and movement inside and rappelling from a grounded helicopter, tactical procedures after deployment from the helicopter. DAY 2: basic rappelling training using a fast rope from a hovering helicopter from various heights 3-10 meters above the terrain, dropping the team into the field to a prepared tactical or medical scenarios, extracting of the team. Recommended equipment: Comfortable tactical clothing or combat uniform and solid outdoor or military shoes (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), belt, shooting goggles, knee pads, body armor or plate carrier with pouches for magazines, helmet, rappelling harness, fast rope gloves or together heavy duty working and tactical gloves. If you do not have anything from mentioned gear, bring just only the clothing or duty gear based on your civilian or Law Enforcement/Military daily usage. No need to buy expensive tactical gear just for course purposes. This is not compulsory on this course. If you would like to try out modern gear and equipment or you just do not own it, please click on your chosen course date and you will find a "Air Assault equipment rental" and other gear available for this date. Weapon: Airsoft weapon or any dummy rifle. For small fee there will be training wepons with the basic one point slings available for all the participants If needed. Timing: Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the car park of the location, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 18:00. Accommodation: Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant provides and pays for it himself. There will be a 30 min lunchtime meal time. We recommend you bring food ration for the outdoors and enough drink for the day. Language: Czech with translation to english.
