Course Description:

Home Defense is a course focused on protecting yourself, your family, and your home during situations involving an unlawful intrusion. Students will learn fundamental techniques for moving through a building with a handgun, protecting family members, responding to unusual situations, and securing or barricading a residence when appropriate. The course also covers the legal principles of self-defence and necessity. Emphasis is placed on sound decision-making, the protection of innocent persons, and dealing with situations that an ordinary citizen may realistically encounter in their own home. All techniques are reinforced through scenario-based training using FX Simunition training weapons.

Contents:

Fundamental principles of home defense and legal considerations related to the use of force in residential environments, structured movement inside apartments and houses with handgun platform; room clearing techniques adapted for solo defender scenarios; hallway and staircase procedures within confined residential layouts, threat identification and decision-making when dealing with both intruders and non-threat individuals, principles of home barricading and defensive positioning; and scenario-based training using FX Simunition firearms to apply tactical movement, communication, and decision-making under realistic stress conditions.

Recommended equipment:

Comfortable civilian clothing and solid outdoor or sports shoes (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), belt, you can bring also own high-quality and safe kydex or plastic hand gun holster placed on the strong hand side and covering the trigger guard for Glock 17 GEN4/GEN5 and holster for the magazine, shooting goggles, tactical gloves and flashlight. But you can just simply bring the clothing based on your civilian daily usage. No need to bring or buy expensive tactical gear just for course purposes.

Weapon:

There will be our training FX simunition wepons (Glock 17 GEN4/GEN5) with the holster available for all the participants for free of charge. FX ammunition included in the course fee.

Timing:

Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the car park of the training site / shooting range, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 18:00.

Accommodation and food:

Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant provides and pays for it himself. There will be a 30 min lunchtime meal time. We recommend you bring food ration for the outdoors and enough drink for the day.
