Close Protection

Course Description: The Close Protection course is designed to prepare bodyguards and close protection operators for protective duties in stable and developed environments such as Europe, the United States, and similar regions. The training focuses on low-profile protective operations in urban settings, emphasizing discretion, professional conduct, and the ability to blend into civilian surroundings. Participants develop the skills required to operate effectively in single, dual, or small-team configurations while providing protective coverage during routine movements, business engagements, public appearances, and private events. Emphasis is placed on threat prevention, situational awareness, protective formations, controlled response to aggression, de-escalation techniques, and coordinated action during critical incidents. The course integrates practical exercises, force-on-force scenarios, driving modules, and live-fire validation tailored to realistic close protection environments. Contents: Fundamentals of close protection operations in civilian environments, low-profile protective mindset and situational awareness, foot protective formations and urban movement drills, embus and debus procedures, vehicle movement and convoy principles in civilian traffic, response to attacks at static locations and during foot or vehicle movement, emergency response and protective evacuation drills, close-quarters self-defense techniques for client protection, mission planning and route preparation, navigation and tracking systems, radio communication in small protective teams, force-on-force scenario exercises using FX Simunition, urban driving training, live-fire validation exercises focused on protective response in realistic civilian settings. Recommended equipment: Pens, flash drive or external hard disk, comfortable civilian or tactical clothing and solid outdoor or sports shoes (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), belt, high-quality and safe kydex or plastic hand gun holster placed on the strong hand side and covering the trigger guard, holster for the magazine, shooting goggles, hearing protection (headphones, earbuds ...). Just simply bring the clothing or duty gear based on your civilian or Law Enforcement/Military daily usage. In last two days of the course scenarios will be conducted in a real environment in the city of Prague or other towns so bring civilian clothes which will be adapted for concealed carry weapons and equipment. Nylon or similar soft pistol holsters as well as underarm holsters are very dangerous for the training as well as for the user safety in real weapon carry. Please avoid wearing them for the course and even in real life. High quality kydex holsters from RH Holsters manufacturer for Glock 17/19/26/43, Walther PDP/PPQ/PPS/Creed, H&K SFP9, S&W MP9 along with magazine pouches are available for a small fee. Appendix carry holsters are allowed but it must meet the definition of a high quality and safe kydex or plastic hand gun holster, preferably kydex holster placed on the strong hand side and covering the trigger guard. Weapon: Pistol with 2 magazines and 400 rounds. In cause of using subcompact pistol (G42/G43 etc) please bring at least 3 spare magazines. If you do not own a gun or would like to try a gun other than the one you own, we are able to provide you with holsters, ammunition and other accessories. In the first section you will find complete packages which always include a pistol with two magazines, kydex pistol and magazine holsters, eye and hearing protection and the number of rounds needed for the course. If you bring your own factory ammunition, you can choose to rent the gun only. There will be our training FX simunition wepons (Glock 17 GEN4/GEN5) with the holsters available for all the participants for 6 from 7 days of the course. FX Ammunition included. Timing: Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the car park of the shooting range, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 18:00. Accommodation and food: Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant provides and pays for it himself. There will be a 30 min lunchtime meal time. We recommend you bring food ration for the outdoors and enough drink for the day. Language: Czech with translation to English.

Personal Security Detail

Course Description: The Tactical PSD course is an intensive week-long training program focused on preparing operators for high-risk protective security deployments in conflict and post-conflict environments such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and similar regions.  The course develops the skills required to operate within armed Protective Security Details (PSD) conducting high-profile movements, convoy operations, and protective missions in hostile environments. Training reflects real-world contractor conditions, including operations with long guns, heavy protective equipment, extended vehicle movements, and coordinated team response to direct and complex attacks.  Participants train in foot and mounted formations, convoy procedures, immediate action drills, static security response, mission planning, advance procedures, communications discipline, navigation, and tactical driving under operational stress.  The program integrates force-on-force and live-fire exercises conducted in realistic environments to validate decision-making, coordination, and response under pressure. Contents: Operational theory of high-risk PSD deployments, foot protective formations and movement drills, vehicle embus and debus procedures, convoy operations and formation management, response to attack in static locations and during foot or mounted movement, emergency response and immediate action drills, mission planning process and advance team responsibilities, route planning and map work, tracking systems and navigation, radio communication procedures, tactical driving training, force-on-force scenario exercises, live-fire training and scenario validation in realistic operational environments. Recommended equipment: Comfortable civilian or tactical clothing or combat uniform and solid outdoor or duty footwear (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), belt, you can also bring your own kydex or plastic hand gun holster placed on the strong hand side and covering the trigger guard for Glock 17 GEN4/GEN5, holster for spare magazine, plate carrier or any complete ballistic protection with an AR15 magazine poches, helmet, shooting goggles, kneepads, tactical gloves and gun mounted flashlight. If you do not have anything from mentioned gear, bring just only the clothing or duty gear based on your civilian or Law Enforcement/Military daily usage. No need to buy expensive tactical gear just for course purposes. This is not compulsory on this course. If you would like to try out modern ballistic gear and equipment, we are able to provide modern plate carrier including ballistic plates and magazine pouches, high end ballistic protective helmet Galvion or some other tactical equipment and gear.
