Small Unit Tactics Ambush

Course Description: Small Unit Tactics Ambush (SUTA) builds on the SUT Basic course and focuses on the planning, preparation, and execution of ambush operations in open and wooded terrain. Students will learn the fundamentals of mission planning, observation post establishment, information gathering, and the coordination of a small military unit before, during, and after an ambush. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, maintaining concealment, proper timing of actions, and managing events following contact with the enemy. All techniques are reinforced through practical field exercises and scenario-based training. Contents: Refresher of core small-unit tactics procedures; fundamentals of mission planning process for deliberate ambush operations; establishment of observation posts and reconnaissance procedures; site selection and preparation for ambush; coordination and controlled execution of ambush operations; actions during and after contact; post-ambush consolidation and withdrawal procedures; and force-on-force field scenarios to validate planning, coordination, and execution in rural environments. Recommended equipment: Comfortable civilian or tactical clothing or combat uniform and solid outdoor or duty footwear (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), belt, you can also bring your own plate carrier or any complete ballistic protection with an AR15 magazine poches, helmet, shooting goggles, kneepads and tactical gloves. If you do not have anything from mentioned gear, bring just only the clothing or duty gear based on your civilian or Law Enforcement/Military daily usage. No need to buy expensive tactical gear just for course purposes. This is not compulsory on this course. As you are about to attend entire course in the forest and there is an emphasis on camouflage and blending in, match the colour of your clothing and equipment to the forest and open terrain as much as possible. If you would like to try out modern ballistic gear and equipment, we are able to provide modern plate carrier including ballistic plates and magazine pouches, high end ballistic protective helmet Galvion or some other tactical equipment and gear. Contents: Fundamental theory of small-unit operations in rural environments; camouflage techniques and fieldcraft principles; preparation and configuration of equipment for field deployment; non-verbal communication and hand signal systems; basic field navigation and orientation; patrol procedures for fire team and squad-level elements; reaction to contact and attack drills; counter-tracking and anti-following procedures; selection and occupation of Objective Rally Point (ORP) and associated actions; and scenario-based field exercises to validate coordination, communication, and maneuver under operational conditions. Small Unit Tactics Live Fire

Course Description: Small Unit Tactics Live Fire (SUTLF) is an intensive one-day course focused on live-fire tactical drills for small military units. Students will practise two-man and team-based movement, covering techniques, reactions to enemy contact, and other fundamental tactical manoeuvres commonly used in open terrain. Emphasis is placed on safety, communication, movement coordination, and the ability to work effectively as part of a unit while employing live weapons and ammunition. The course is intended for students who already possess a solid understanding of basic SUT procedures and want to apply them in a live-fire environment. Due to the nature of the training, a high standard of safe weapon handling, discipline, and individual shooting proficiency is required from every participant. Contents: Live-fire marksmanship integration within small-unit movement; pair-based fire and maneuver drills during forward, rearward, and lateral movement; reaction to contact and immediate action drills under live-fire conditions; coordinated team maneuver and sector control; controlled suppression and bounding techniques; tactical movement and fire coordination in wooded and open terrain; structured live-fire exercises integrating communication and movement discipline. You can attend this course only if you have a perfect and safe weapon handling! Course Description: Small Unit Tactics Raid (SUTR) builds on the SUT Basic and SUT Ambush courses and focuses on the planning, preparation, and execution of raid operations in open and wooded terrain. Students will practise the planning process, the establishment of observation posts, target reconnaissance, and the coordination of a small military unit during both the preparation and execution phases of a raid. Emphasis is placed on maintaining concealment, proper timing of actions, coordination between individual elements, and post-objective actions following mission completion. All techniques are reinforced through practical field exercises and scenario-based training. Contents: Refresher of core SUT and SUTA procedures; mission planning process including preparation within the ORP; establishment of observation posts and reconnaissance of static enemy positions; objective isolation and assault element coordination; preparation and execution of deliberate raid; actions on the objective and post-raid consolidation; withdrawal and link-up procedures; and force-on-force field scenarios validating planning, coordination, and execution in rural environments. Course Description: Small Unit Tactics Scenarios (SUTS) builds on the previous SUT courses and focuses primarily on the practical application of learned techniques in realistic field scenarios. Following a brief review of key skills and the planning process, students will work through a series of exercises requiring them to solve a variety of tasks in open and wooded terrain as part of a small military unit. Emphasis is placed on planning, communication, teamwork, land navigation, and the ability to adapt to changing situations during mission execution. The course is intended for students who wish to practise and integrate the skills acquired in previous SUT courses into complex scenario-based training. Contents: Comprehensive refresher of procedures from previous SUT modules; full mission planning process and ORP preparation; infiltration and sustained operations behind simulated enemy lines; coordinated small-unit maneuver under continuous field conditions; execution of tactical tasks during extended operations; multiple force-on-force field scenarios integrated into a 24-hour continuous exercise; structured debriefing and tactical performance evaluation. Tactical Tracker

Course Description: Tactical Tracker is a course focused on the detection, identification, and tracking of human sign in natural environments. The training is based on the methodology developed by David Scott-Donelan, which has been used for many years by military, law enforcement, conservation, and security organisations around the world. Students will learn how to identify human tracks and other indicators of movement, estimate their age, analyse the information they provide, and work effectively as part of a tracking team. The course is suitable for military and law enforcement personnel, conservation professionals, security practitioners, and anyone interested in the art and science of human tracking. Contents: Fundamental theory of tactical tracking; tracking terminology and sign identification; visual tracking techniques and human gait interpretation; recognition of visual and non-visual tracking indicators; environmental factors affecting track preservation; principles of sign analysis; track pursuit drills; mission structure of a tactical tracker squad; roles, duties, and responsibilities within a tracking element; formations and controlled movement techniques during pursuit; relocation procedures for lost track lines; and culminating field scenario integrating tracking, coordination, and tactical decision-making.
