Small Unit Tactics Ambush

Course Description: The contact itself lasts only a moment in an ambush. Small Unit Tactics Live Fire

Course Description: When shooting live as a pair or a team, everyone has to know exactly where their partner is and where they're allowed to shoot. At Small Unit Tactics Live Fire you will practice small unit drills with real weapons and live ammunition. Small Unit Tactics Live Fire (SUTLF) is a one-day course of practical tactical drills in open terrain. You start with two shooters working together while advancing, withdrawing to the rear and moving laterally. Then come reacting to contact and an enemy attack, and finally teamwork during various tactical maneuvers. We put the emphasis on safety, communication and coordinated movement. Because you shoot live with other people moving next to you, we require perfectly mastered safe weapon handling and discipline. You need your own semi-automatic rifle and pistol. If you don't have them, you can add a complete package with the weapon, holsters, ammunition and eye and ear protection to your booking for your chosen date. You can also rent a plate carrier. What You Will Learn: After the course you can advance, withdraw to the rear and move laterally with a live weapon so that the shooters cover each other without endangering one another, first as a pair and then in teams of four, six and eight. You have mastered reacting to contact and an enemy attack with live fire. And you know how to communicate and move as a team during tactical maneuvers with live ammunition. You can only take this course if you have perfectly mastered safe weapon handling! Required Equipment: Comfortable civilian or tactical clothing and solid outdoor or sports shoes (both suited to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), a belt, a high-quality and safe hard holster worn on the strong side and covering the trigger guard (preferably kydex) and spare magazine pouches for both the handgun and the long gun, a plate carrier or full ballistic protection including a helmet, shooting glasses, hearing protection (earmuffs, earplugs, etc.) and knee pads. Nylon or similar soft holsters, whether inside or outside the waistband, as well as shoulder holsters, are very dangerous for the user both in training and in real-life carry. Tactical Tracker

Course Description: Everyone who moves through terrain leaves tracks behind. At Tactical Tracker you will learn to find them, determine their age and follow a person by them, both on your own and as part of a tracking team. Tactical Tracker is a three-day course in finding, recognizing and following human sign in the natural environment. The training is based on the methodology of David Scott-Donelan, which has long been used by armed forces, security organizations and conservationists. You start with theory, the rules of tracking and how a track is formed. Then you will learn to recognize human tracks and other signs of human activity, determine how old they are and track in low light. Finally, you work as a team and bring everything together in a final scenario. You don't need to buy expensive tactical gear; you can complete the course in comfortable tactical clothing and sturdy footwear. You can pre-order our M4 airsoft training rifle for a symbolic fee, and your own airsoft weapon is welcome. We never have more than 8 students per instructor, so everyone gets real attention. Choose a date in the calendar below. Who Is This Course For: For members of the armed forces, conservationists, security professionals and anyone else interested in tracking people in the field. The course has no prerequisites. Be prepared for one day of training that continues into the dark. What You Will Learn: After three days you know the basic rules of tracking and understand how a track is formed. You can recognize human tracks and other signs of human activity in nature and estimate how old they are. You can track in low light. And you know how to work as part of a tracking team, tested in a final scenario. Contents: Basic theory and rules of tracking, how tracks are formed, human tracks and signs of human activity in the natural environment, aging of sign, tracking in low light, team tracking, final scenario. Required Equipment: Comfortable tactical clothing or a combat uniform and solid outdoor or duty footwear (both suited to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), a plate carrier or ballistic vest with gear pouches and AR15 magazine pouches, a helmet or boonie hat, shooting glasses, tactical gloves, an individual first aid kit, a tactical flashlight or headlamp and writing materials. You can of course complete the course in comfortable tactical clothing without having to buy expensive tactical gear. Weapon: Participants can use our M4 airsoft training rifles, which can be pre-ordered for a symbolic fee that usually covers only servicing and maintenance of the weapon after the course. The weapon is not included in the course fee! If you have your own airsoft weapon or sling, we recommend bringing them along. You are of course welcome to use them. Tactical Courses and the Law: Czech law does not regulate participation in tactical courses in any way. You don't need any permit, and it doesn't matter whether you are a citizen of the Czech Republic, another EU country or a country outside the EU. Czech law sets no fixed minimum age, but a minor participant must be reasonably mature, both mentally and physically. We do not recommend registering children under 15 for a course this intensive. Timing: Class starts at 9:00 am. Please arrive at the venue no later than 8:30–8:45 am. The course usually ends around 6:00 pm, except on the day with low-light training, when we finish later. There is a 30-minute lunch break during the day. Venue: We run our courses at various locations across the Czech Republic. You will find the exact venue for each date in the calendar, just click on the date. For multi-day courses that use more than one location, all venues are listed there. Please check the venue carefully before booking. The same course often runs at different locations on different dates. Every now and then a student books a date expecting it to be at our home base, the Oleško shooting range, only to find out on the day that the course is taking place in Moravia, some 300 km away. To avoid this, always click on the date before booking and check where that particular date takes place. Language: Czech with English translation available. Accommodation and Food: Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant arranges and pays for it themselves. There is a 30-minute lunch break, so bring food that doesn't need cooking or ordering, such as an Adventure Menu type ration, an MRE or food from home, and enough to drink for the whole day.
