Petr has nearly 20 years of experience with the Army of the Czech Republic, spending most of his career in reconnaissance and special forces units, where he held command positions at various levels—from team and squad, through platoon and company, up to a training center.
In addition to direct operational deployments, he has been involved in training foreign partners, domestic personnel, and active reserve units, with a focus on reconnaissance, small-unit tactics, firearms training, and tactical climbing and swimming. This role also included close cooperation with coalition partners such as the Royal Marines Commandos, Special Boat Service (SBS), Royal Air Force (RAF), Texas National Guard, and the 101st Airborne Division (Screaming Eagles), as well as domestic units including the Regional Intervention Unit of the Czech Police in the South Moravian Region (SWAT Brno), the Operational Deployment Group (SON), and the Rapid Deployment Unit (URNA).
